Mike Munchak Says He Has No Interest in the Penn State Job, Nittany Lions Back to the Drawing Board

Also, he’s not taking the job. Munchak definitely squashed the rumors this morning telling Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean he’s not interested in leaving the Titans. Coaches are notorious liars and these coaching searches are fluid … but let’s assume Munchak is being serious and has no interest in the job.
Where does Penn State go from here? I think we’re dangerously close to the school looking at a) a bad retread (think Jim Mora to UCLA), b) an assistant coach who isn’t ready, c) backing up the brinks for Miami’s Al Golden (unlikely, considering his extension), d) keeping Tom Bradley (enter maniacal Jerry Sandusky laugh here).
Bruce Feldman thinks Mario Cristobal might be in play, but might he stay in Florida one more year just in case Will Muschamp completely tanks and the Gators decide he was a mistake?
