Tim Howard Scored A Goal For Everton
By Ty Duffy

Landon Donovan debuted for Everton, but it was his fellow American Tim Howard with the memorable effort. Howard launched a ball from the back end that was carried by the wind, bounced behind the defense and then over a swiftly backpedaling goalkeeper into the net. A fluke, but a notable one.
Howard is the fourth goalkeeper to score since the EPL broke away and decided to reset history. Fate returned the favor to Bolton, who won 2-1. [Video via 101GG]
