Tim Tebow's Win Over the Steelers Was the 2nd Most-Watched TV Program in the Last Year, Only Behind the Super Bowl

Mock Tim Tebow’s throwing motion, rant about how his religious references are annoying, and laugh at his chances against the Patriots in New England Sunday. Know this: 42.4 million people watched him and the Broncos beat the Steelers in a thrilling Wild Card game Sunday, and it was the most watched program on TV in the last year, behind only the Super Bowl. The Grammys drew 26.55 million viewers. Only 37.6 million watched the Academy Awards.

In unrelated news, Jockey underwear has adjusted the front of its website to feature … you guessed it, Tim Tebow. That’s one heck of a chiseled back.

Obviously, Saturday night’s game against the Patriots won’t come close to matching those numbers, but if Denver somehow manages to keep it close, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is the 3rd highest rated game this postseason behind the Super Bowl and Denver’s victory over the Steelers.
