Tyler Wilson Staying at Arkansas, and the Razorbacks Should Be a Force in the SEC in 2012

Losers here include SEC defenses, the Washington Redskins and the Seattle Seahawks.

Wilson, who emerged from Ryan Mallet’s shadow to throw for 3,638 yards and 24 TDs this year, has a cannon for an arm, is fleet-footed, and will probably be a Top 10 pick in 2013.

I like Arkansas a lot in 2012. Ty Duffy had them 10th in the preseason poll, but I think Arkansas beats Alabama in September (I think the Tide will lose to Michigan early, too), and the season will come down to that Thanksgiving weekend home game against LSU. Sure, Wilson will miss his top two targets (Wright and Adams graduate), but if Cobi Hamilton and Chris Gragg return to school, he’ll be fine. Perhaps more importantly, star RB Knile Davis will return from injury and the offensive line will return (it appears) four of five starters.
