José Aldo Defends Featherweight Championship With A Spectacular KO of Chad Mendes

José Aldo knocked out Chad Mendes with a second remaining in the first round tonight at UFC Rio. It was a wonderful return to form for Aldo who had been defending his title through boring decisions lately. After earned the KO victory, Aldo sprinted past UFC security into the Brazilian crowd to celebrate. Dana White wasn’t excited to see his featherweight champion out there with the common folk without body guards, but dammit it was an awesome scene.
