Australian Open Ballgirl Interview: It Was a Cockroach

Turns out it was a cockroach. That’s right – a cockroach. In this interview with some Australian outlet, the ballgirl who removed the bug from the court at the Australian Open was dealing with a cockroach, instead of a cuddly cricket like was first reported. If anything, that makes her actions more heroic. I mean, cockroaches are gross!

Also worth noting – The girl’s name is Alison and they refer to her as a “ball kid.”
