After months of speculation, we’re finally getting the new intro tomorrow night. The gladiator is dead. I’m more than a little disappointed that they aren’t using the Baba O’Riley intro they use inside the areas, but a Hans Zimmer score is a start.

Roy Nelson and Fabricio Werdum should be… interesting. Werdum probably wants to go to the ground, but unlike Alistair Overeem, I think Nelson would be more than happy to follow him down and smother him. Josh Koscheck and Mike Pierce could turn into a boxing match between two wrestlers or it could turn into an NCAA regional event.

Barão has finished three of his four fights in the UFC and WEC. His only career loss came in his professional debut in 2005. This will be the first time UFC fans have really seen Barão and he’ll have a decent test in Scott Jorgensen. Barão is nowhere near the title picture, but it will be interesting to see if – and just how fast – he can get in the discussion considering the streak he’s currently on.
