Kevin Love Suspended Two Games for Stomping on Luis Scola's Face

Kevin Love got tangled with Luis Scola Saturday night in Minnesota, the Argentinean forward went down, and then Love went all Christian Laettner on Scola’s face. The NBA suspended Love two games for his transgression. It looks like the Wolves – 12-12, surprisingly still in the mix for one of the final playoff spots in the West – will be without their leading scorer and rebounder against the Kings and Grizzlies. Very curious to the backstory between Love and Scola, because this seemed like an irrational move from the mild-mannered former UCLA star.
