Four players being implicated in a drug bust is a problem. Sixteen players, at most, getting zinged for marijuana by a surprise test during the offseason is hardly an epidemic. They are college students. A former player told the Star Telegram “there was definitely a small group of guys using weed but nothing more than that.”

It’s amazing how student privacy never seems to be a concern when the information to be leaked is positive.
