Tonight’s Rising Stars Challenge was entertaining, but not close enough to play seriously down the stretch. You don’t play defense in All-Star games. Especially at the end of All-Star games that aren’t close. With just a few minutes remaining, it turned into an impromptu dunk contest with Washington’s John Wall taking center stage. (More videos tomorrow.) After Wall showed off with a couple nice dunks, everyone cleared the way so he could throw himself an alley-oop. Enter Detroit’s Greg Monroe who played possum and stole the ball when Wall threw it. Not cool, Greg Monroe. Not cool.
