John Wall was offended that he was picked so low in the Rising Stars Challenge draft and last night he got his chance to make everyone sorry. Wall didn’t carry the team – Kyrie Irving scored 34 points and hit 8 of 8 three pointers – but he did make plenty of highlight-worthy plays, starting with this alley-oop from MarShon Brooks.

Wall also behind the back, one-handed. That was pretty much the last straw for NBA Super Troll, Greg Monroe.

Here’s Wall going behind the back before tossing it up for Minnesota’s Derrick Williams. Then a long outlet pass and Blake Griffin went HIGH off the backboard for the self-oop. Blake also took oops from Ricky Rubio and Jeremy Lin.

Earlier in the evening, the celebrity game was a special kind of train wreck, but it did feature a couple highlights. Diminutive comedian Kevin Hart threw a perfect alley-oop to rapper J Cole near the end of the Team Dwight Howard rout.

Cole’s dunk almost made up for the fact that he blew this dime from Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan. After watching last night’s game it’s no secret why Duncan was selected for Obama’s cabinet – he can flat out ball. The former Harvard forward scored 16 points to go along with 8 rebounds.
