Eric Nystrom's Hit on Kris Letang: Clean or Dirty?

During last night’s game between the Stars and Penguins, Eric Nystrom destroyed Kris Letang. It was a glancing blow, but Letang got hit in the head. Clean? Dirty? Accidental? Intentional? There’s a fine line and Eric Nystrom is firmly on one side or the other depending on whom you ask.

NBC Sports Networks’ Mike Milbury and Jeremy Roenick got into a heated argument over whether or not the hit was legal or dirty. I’m sure a similar argument took place in the NHL offices last night. The question is, how does Brendan Shanahan feel about the collision?
