Conference: Ivy League (26-4)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts

Famous Alums: Cameron and Tyler Winkelvoss

They’re Back! First time for Harvard in the NCAA Tournament since the soldiers came home and started making Baby Boomers in 1946.

Resume: Wins over Florida State, Central Florida, and St. Joseph’s. Loss to Connecticut. Harvard won the Ivy officially last night, when Penn lost at Princeton. In doing so, they avoided having to play in a playoff for the Ivy League automatic bid, and you might remember how it ended last year.

Notable Player(s): Forward Kyle Casey leads the team in points, rebounds, and blocked shots.

Team Style/Strengths: Tommy Amaker’s Crimson play a deliberate style, get back on defense, and limit opponent’s on the offensive glass. They play very good defense in the paint, too.

All-Important Rankings: 36 (RPI), 37 (Pomeroy)

Projected Outlook/Seed: Harvard will likely get a 9 or 10 seed in the tournament.
