Philadelphia 106, New York 94: Can we please table all Knicks discussions until after the NCAA Tournament? They’re just too damn depressing. Lou Williams (28 points) annihilated Jeremy Lin (5-of-18, six turnovers) and New York lost its fifth straight. Perish any thought of the Atlantic division title. Now they just have to try and avoid the 7th/8th seed or it’ll be another 1-and-done in the playoffs. Keep an eye on Evan Turner: 24 points, 15 rebounds. He looked very good.
LA Lakers 97, Boston 94: Gasol and Bynum combined for 33 points and 27 rebounds and tell me again why anyone would want to blow this team up?
Orlando 107, Indiana 94: Quietly, the Magic are 27-15; the Pacers are a mildly disappointing 23-16 after 1-of-12 shooting from beyond the arc. Orlando made 10 three-pointers.
Golden State 97, LA Clippers 93: Caron Butler shot 0-6, and at some point, they’re going to need to find another a third scorer to compliment CP3 (23 points) and Blake (27 points, 12 rebounds).
