With so many receivers signing yesterday, including about $11 million per year to Vincent Jackson (who is two years older and not at the same level) and $8 million per year to Pierre Garcon, you knew the elite receivers would get more. Well, more is an average of 19 million. That’s funny money in that an extension will be either signed or he will not see the end of that deal, but still, 60 million guaranteed is a lot. I’m fine with paying an elite player who should be a star for the next five years that much, though.
