During halftime of today’s Ohio State – Gonzaga game, the CBS studio crew interviewed Norfolk State’s Kyle O’Quinn. O’Quinn, a 6′ 10″, 240-pound senior, scored 26 points and pulled down 14 rebounds in Norfolk State’s historic upset of 2-seed Missouri. Between O’Quinn’s game and personality, he has a great chance to be the breakout star of this year’s tournament. This interview may have cemented it as O’Quinn talked about being recruited by just one school and even sang his own rendition of One Shining Moment. O’Quinn and the Spartans take on Florida tomorrow at 6:10.
He was probably lying, though.
