Fifty years after Cincinnati beat Ohio State in the national title game, Ohio State got some revenge in the tournament, and are advancing to the Elite 8 against Syracuse.

Justin Jackson of Cincinnati had an amazing block to start the game, but it was Ohio State who controlled the action early. Deshaun Thomas had 20 points in the first half (26 for the game) and Jared Sullinger was also active on the boards. Ohio State built a 37-25 halftime lead.

However, the Bearcats came out hot in the second half, and charged all the way into the lead in fairly short order. Ohio State was able to right itself, and went from 4 down to back up by 10 after this sweet pass by Jared Sullinger to effectively end it. There was little drama from that point, and Ohio State went on to the 81-66 win.
