The Penguins’ Brooks Orpik hit the Rangers’ Derek Stepan knee on knee during Pittsburgh’s 5-2 win last night. Rangers coach John Tortorella was not pleased. He felt this was hypocritical, considering the amount of “whining” the Penguins do related to their “stars,” presumably Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. “It’s ridiculous. But they’ll whine about something else over there, won’t they? Starting with their two [expletive] stars.”
