Florida Panthers Team President Picking Twitter Fights With Fans

During Game 5 of the Florida Panthers – New Jersey Devils series, fans were throwing rats on the ice in Florida and the home team was in danger of drawing a penalty. Panthers’ President and COO, Michael Yormark announced on Monday that the team would stop selling the rats because he thought it was New Jersey fans trying to get the Panthers in trouble. Yormark then started picking on people on Twitter.

One Devils fan in particular found this absurd and tweeted that Yormark was making an ass of himself. Yormark unleashed the ultimate burn on @LaurenAshley07 tweeting, “you have 70 followers. No one cares what you think.” That was two days ago. After people caught on, Lauren’s Twitter count has risen to more than 2,600. She now has more followers than I do (Follow me!) and is closing in on Yormark, who only has 3,100.

Game 7 is tomorrow night in Florida. Let’s hope the sun is blotted out by rats, no matter who wins.
