22. Cleveland: Brandon Weeden, QB, Oklahoma State. The Cleveland Browns made the smart move and added a solid veteran to tutor Colt McCoy. If he is good, it’s worth the pick to get a guy who can start four years under the rookie deal, and then you can let go at age 33, because Weeden will likely be at his peak when he takes a snap as a rookie.

23. Detroit: Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa. The Lions address their offensive line for the future, with Backus aging, by taking the second best available pure tackle in the draft.

24. Pittsburgh: David DeCastro, OG, Stanford. I want to go on a rant about the great teams just plugging along and doing their thing. The Steelers just waited and a great pick fell to them at a position of need. Amazing.
