Jordan Hill finally seemed to be coming into his own as a backup center for the Lakers. Remember the monster game vs. Oklahoma City eight days ago? Today, Hill was charged with felony assault. TMZ is reporting the incident took place in Texas on February 29. Hill has been accused of choking a family member. Hill scored 10 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in the Lakers game 1 win over the Nuggets yesterday.
Stories are just now being written about what a pleasant surprise Hill has been. Now this emerges the day after his biggest game as a professional basketball player. Until Hill is convicted of anything, the NBA won’t be suspending him, but he could face discipline from the Lakers. Remember, Ron Artest is already sitting out.
