LA's Jered Weaver Threw a No-Hitter Against the Twins

Jered Weaver of the Los Angeles Angels has thrown the first* no-hitter in Major League Baseball this season. Weaver struck out 9 and walked just one tonight against the Minnesota Twins. It took 121 pitches, but it will be worth any arm soreness tomorrow. Screw pitch counts – no-hitters are awesome.

Fun fact: In 2008, Weaver was part of a combined no-hitter, but the Angels lost. Weaver joins this list of historical baseball throwers.
