Michigan State's Gholston and Thomas Unhurt After Scary Rollover Car Accident

Michigan State defensive end William Gholston and top 2011 recruit Lawrence Thomas walked away from what sounds like a horrific car wreck. The players were heading home to Detroit around 3:40pm yesterday afternoon, when a woman was cut off, lost control of her car and collided with the players on the highway. The players’ car rolled over multiple times and landed in a ditch, with the other car on top of it. Everyone was wearing a seatbelt. No one suffered serious injuries.

Here is Thomas’ take from his Facebook page:

“God is awesome,” Thomas wrote. “Me and @WillGholston was on the road on our way back home for a little break from school and got into a serious car crash. These 2 car were swerving out of control but one of the cars swerved in front of us in the middle lane. As soon as we hit the car, will flipped in the air 3-4 times and landed in a ditch on the side of the road. Many people was telling us we are so glad we walked away from that with any broken bones. We just have a few cuts, bruises, and soreness. But like I said, God is Good!!!”
