Thunder 119, Lakers 90. Bloodbath. Russell Westbrook was unguardable (27 points on 10-of-15 shooting). Oklahoma City turned the ball over just four times – only one by a starter – and had 13 steals to just one for the Lakers.
LA had no answer for James Harden (17 points), either – he got to the rim whenever he wanted and attempted 10 free throws (LA took just 15).
Mike Brown looked stupefied. He tried a zone (it didn’t work). As you’ll hear often today, OKC’s youthful energy was simply too much for the ancient Lakers.
Only question left for me – will the Lakers win more games against the Thunder than the Clippers will win against the Spurs?
