Bench Clearing Brawl Between Indiana and Purdue In Big Ten Title Game

The Indiana-Purdue Big Ten Title Game featured a wild ending capped off by a slide into third base leading to a fight and benches clearing. It started with a run down coming down the third base line after a chopper to third. The lead runner was tagged out, but then the throw back to third to get the next runner got away, then the throw into third again led to the slide and brawl. Crazy stuff.
Purdue won the Championship 6-5, with the winning run scoring seconds before this escalated.
