Aroldis Chapman’s wild week continues. Over the weekend, he was arrested for speeding and driving with a suspended license. Then, last night, he was the victim of a bizarre hotel robbery while he was at the ballpark in Pittsburgh, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
What makes it really bizarre is that a female companion was in the room while Chapman was gone at the ballgame, and was found tied up with cloth napkins inside the open room by other hotel guests last night. According to the woman, she opened the door for someone who identified themself as maintenance. The robber then demanded items and tied up the woman, stealing jewelry, clothing, a computer, and credit and ID cards.
