Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp came off the disabled list on Tuesday after rehabbing a hamstring injury only to re-injure it in his second game back on Wednesday night. It happened when Kemp slowed up rounding third on an Andre Ethier RBI double and, knowing all too well that his hamstring was re-aggravated, he naturally decided to pull a Bo Jackson and break a bat over his knee.
Just a few days ago I had shared my disappointment that players don’t do that anymore, and poof, Kemp delivered. We should all be grateful.
