Nausea-inducing details continue to emerge from Jerry Sandusky’s trial for 52 counts of child sexual abuse. Victim 6, accusing Sandusky of embracing him in a Penn State shower in 1998 when he was 11-years-old, claimed Sandusky referred to himself as “the tickle monster.”
Earlier Thursday, the other accuser testified that Sandusky called himself the “tickle monster” and embraced the then-11-year-old boy in a Penn State shower in 1998, an encounter that prompted an investigation but ultimately ended without any charges being filed.
The victim claims Sandusky embraced him in the shower, “lathered up his back and shoulders,” and “lifted him chest to chest” to a shower head. He says the shower occurred after a “brief” workout in which he had not broken a sweat and Sandusky took him on a tour of the locker room to try on players’ football equipment.
