Jerry Sandusky's Adopted Son Matt Sandusky Told Prosecutors He Was Molested, Was Willing to Testify

"He has denied ever being abused by his adopted father until now. “This has been an extremely painful experience for Matt and he has asked us to convey his request that the media respect his privacy. There will be no further comment,” Shubin said in a statement."

Matt Sandusky is one of the family’s six adopted children. He joined The Second Mile at age 7. Sara Ganim previously reported on his “rocky relationship” with the family in March.

According to NBC News, the prospect of his son testifying might have contributed to Sandusky’s decision not to testify on his own behalf.
