The victory marked Tiger’s third PGA Tour triumph of the season, which of course brings us to the inevitable burning question of “is he back?” It really depends who you’re talking to. He’s set such a tremendously high bar for himself that being very good just won’t be enough for some, especially for casual golf fans who yearn for Tiger to win each tournament by 15 strokes.

Nonetheless, this is basically golf’s seemingly never-ending version of the enthralling Tastes Great/Less Filling debate of the 1980s. I just wish people would start screaming it on golf courses.
