Theo Epstein, president of the Chicago Cubs, has a stalker. Kathleen Kearney, 44, was arrested on two charges of felony stalking Monday evening near Epstein’s Lakeview home. Esptein identified Kearney as the woman who had been warned about “stalking near his home.” She told police she just wanted to invite him to church.
Kearney told officers she had been watching the home that Epstein shares with his wife Marie and young son, Jack, and was going there to extend the invitation, police said.
Police had previously kept watch over Epstein’s home in Boston because of stalking concerns. [Chicago Tribune]
