Ripken, perhaps the most famous player in Baltimore Orioles’ history, spent 21 seasons with the team. Ripken is best known for  breaking the MLB record for consecutive games played (2,632).

Late Tuesday afternoon, police got a call about a suspicious vehicle; Wednesday morning, police found Violet Ripken unharmed in her car. Her abductor remains at-large.]
