SMU Football Players Accuse Prostitute of Burglary

Back in April, on the night of the Southern Methodist football banquet, Uchenna Nwabuike, a freshman linebacker, decided to get a prostitute. Nwabuike later told police he refused to pay her the $50 (!) they had agreed upon, and then, amazingly, left for the banquet with his roommates. The escort remained in their house.

Upon their return home, the players were shocked to find someone had stolen “more than $3,000 worth of laptops, televisions and video games.”

In the police report, Nwabuike admitted that, “he did not pay the suspect for the acts that she performed” and left the woman in the home alone while the players attended the banquet.

The prostitute remains at-large three months after the theft. No word yet on whether Nwabuike, who had eight tackles and a sack in limited action as a freshman, will face a punishment by the Mustangs. [CBS DFW]
