Matt Grevers' Fiancée Was Excited to See Him Set an Olympic Record and Win Gold

Matt Grevers won the 100-meter backstroke today/tonight/whenever NBC is allowing you to watch. With a time of 52.16 seconds, Grevers set an Olympic record and captured his first individual Olympic gold medal. Grevers can add that to his trophy case along with the silver medal he already won this year and the two team gold medals he brought home from Beijing. As you can see, his fiancée was quite pleased.

Grevers proposed to his fiancée at the Missouri Grand Prix earlier this year. Did NBC try and pass the proposal off as part of the Olympic broadcast? Probably. Not like anyone watching is smart enough to figure it out.

Because you want to see it first!
