Olympic basketball parity – gotta love it! When Patty Mills, the former St. Mary’s star, drilled this 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat Russia, it left Team USA as the only unbeaten team left in the 2012 Olympics.
Argentina, which plays Team USA at 5:15 EST today, is 3-1 with a loss to France.
Russia, which beat Brazil with this improbable 3-pointer in the final seconds, is 4-1.
Brazil is 3-1.
Spain is 3-1 with a mildly surprising loss to Russia.
Oh, and Lithuania, the team that forced LeBron James into action Saturday? Lithuania finished pool play 2-3.
