The USC Song Girls go to Tahoe every summer to go into a lake wearing their cheerleader outfits. The band comes along and presumably plays Fight On over and over while the girls jump around on the beach. It’s one of those traditions that if you ever met the guy who started it, you would spend the rest of the night buying him beers and giving him uncomfortably long hugs. Is that weird? Sorry. Sometimes I just don’t know if it’s going to be a long hug or a short hug or like a middle or a medium hug. It’s hard to tell sometimes. Busted Coverage has a ton more pictures of Song Girls splashing around on the beach and flying through the air on some sort of bungee apparatus if you’re interested.
Someday I suppose.
