Bob Papa and Teddy Atlas Were Removed By Olympic Boxing Officials From Covering Final Two Days Live

According to CBS Sports, the final two days of boxing coverage are not being covered live in person by the NBC Crew of Bob Papa and Teddy Atlas. Instead, they will be calling the fights from a remote location. No U.S. Fighters are in medal contention, so the IBA (International Boxing Association) asked them to move back off the front row as a pretext. As Matt Norlander points out, it was probably in part motivated by Atlas’ reaction after an extremely questionable decision in an earlier match, one in which the “winning” fighter was knocked down FIVE times in the final round.
