Brooks Reed of the Texans Gave Saints Receiver Joseph Morgan a DDT

Texans linebacker Brooks Reed did whatever it took Saturday night to bring down Saints receiver Joseph Morgan. In this instance, a DDT was required to complete the mission. It’s not often DDTs are given out on a nightly basis these days, not since the torrid demise of Jake “The Snake” Roberts, so soak it in while you can.
Reed’s decision to go with a DDT also allows me to turn the conversation to the night one of Jake’s snakes went off script and bit the arm of Macho Man Randy Savage.
