Penn State has banned the tradition of singing “Sweet Caroline” at Nittany Lions home games, following the Sandusky scandal. The song’s lyrics, describing the then 11-year-old Caroline Kennedy and including the phrase “touching me, touching you” and other borderline inappropriate physical imagery were deemed insensitive and inappropriate.
