Champions League 2012-13 Draw: Group D With Real Madrid and Manchester City Looks Hellacious

The Champions League Group Draw was today. The undoubted losers were Real Madrid. While Manchester United drew its customary body bags: Braga, Galtasaray and Cluj, the Spanish champions drew Premier League winners Manchester City, Bundesliga winners Borussia Dortmund and Dutch Eredivisie winners Ajax. It is kind of a drab draw elsewhere, with only Chelsea and Juventus constituting a true clash of titans.

Group A: Porto, Dynamo Kiev, Paris St-Germain, Dinamo Zagreb
Group B: Arsenal, Schalke, Olympiakos, Montpellier
Group C: Milan, Zenit St Petersburg, Anderlecht, Malaga
Group D: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund
Group E: Chelsea, Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus, Nordsjaelland
Group F: Bayern Munich, Valencia, Lille, Bate Borisov
Group G: Barcelona, Benfica, Spartak Moscow, Celtic
Group H: Manchester United, Braga, Galatasaray, Cluj
