Northeastern Field Hockey Team Covers Wannabe, Hopefully Signals Many More Spice Girls Covers to Come

The Northeastern field hockey team are pioneers. While other people are still messing around with Carly Rae Jepsen, they’re going old school and covering the Spice Girls’ biggest hit, Wannabe. As someone who shoved Call Me Maybe down your throats for 6 months, I have to say its a nice change of pace. This combined with the Olympic appearance should finally get the Spice Girls the renaissance they so deserve. If this leads to the Sports Illustrated swimsuit models doing a video where they lip sync Stop, I’m all for it. In fact, somebody pitch that idea to MJ Day right now.
