Kent State’s Andre Parker contributed a very early entry for the worst play of the college football season, but he had some help from the Towson punt return team. Kent State punted, Towson’s punt returner called everyone off and then accidentally touched the ball. Parker then picked the ball up and instead of running it 7 yards into the end zone for a touchdown, he took off in the opposite direction for what should have been a safety. Except! Towson was so confused that they chased Parker down. It was spectacular.
