Why did Mike Vick throw 56 passes against the Browns?
Why was Mike Vick so confused by Cleveland’s defense?
At the age of 30, is Mike Vick still struggling to read NFL defense?

All legitimate questions (though two of Vick’s picks were tipped). Despite a 17-16 win over the clueless Browns – how did they not go for a 2-point conversion in the 4th quarter?? – it’s all doom and gloom in Philadelphia today. Vick throwing 56 times vs. just 20 carries for LeSean McCoy was completely perplexing, and as the QB misfired on play after play, a tiny but vocal contingent of Philly fans begged for rookie QB Nick Foles. (You’d be wise to avoid Philly radio today.)

Yes, cement shoes Foles, the 6-foot-6 QB from Arizona who had 10 TDs and nine interceptions in his final five college games last year. Yup, Foles threw three picks against lowly Colorado. And he threw three against Washington. Accuracy problems plagued him at Arizona.

As a freshman at Michigan State, Foles decided to transfer because – presumably – he didn’t think he could beat out Kirk Cousins and Keith Nichol. He sure throws a pretty deep bomb – just like Vick!

Philly needs to show Buffalo preseason tape of Foles and see if the Bills will bite. Fitzpatrick is a bum. Maybe the Eagles can pull off another Kolb-type heist?
