Andy Murray Won the US Open, Then Panicked Because He Couldn't Find His Sponsor's Watch

Andy Murray won his first Grand Slam title Monday night in thrilling fashion over Novak Djokovic, and the first words out of his mouth, according to the Telegraph, were, “I don’t have my watch.”

“I don’t have it, I don’t have it,” he said, pointing to his wrist and looking up to his girlfriend Kim Sears for help.

“Have you got my watch? I don’t have my watch,” he asked of her, before she helpfully pointed to one of his bags.

According to Business Week, “Murray’s on- and off-court annual earnings are estimated at $12 million, according to Forbes magazine.” Coming off an Olympic title and the US Open win, is it crazy to think Murray could double that figure next year?
