Clemson grabbed a 28-14 lead over Florida State in the 3rd quarter on this creative play – receiver Sammy Watkins threw a 52-yard TD pass to running back Andre Ellington. Chad Morris, the Clemson offensive coordinator, is going to be the most popular non-head coach in the country after this weekend’s games. The Morris/Dabo Swinney game plan against the Seminoles has been Oregon-like and captivating.
Clemson doesn’t have a defense, and Florida State scored less than two minutes after this to trim the deficit to 28-21.
