Jeff Triplette, one of the most incompetent referees in the NFL, blew a fumble in the 4th quarter of the Saints/Packers game. As he tried to move players off the pile, he started jawing at Clay Matthews angrily. His head was shaking as if he were an MLB manager screaming in anger. The Packers couldn’t challenge the blown call, but won anyway, 28-27.
And here’s a much more calm version of Triplette, calmly telling Mike McCarthy, “hey coach, sorry, we screwed up the call, but you’re out of challenges.” McCarthy’s response: “That’s bullshit.”
