Chicago and Dallas meet in what should be one of those swing games that could be quite important in early January when we look at head to head and conference wins for tiebreakers. Both teams come in with a somewhat similar weakness–the offensive line. The team that gets the most improvement on the line, allowing their quarterback to make plays and the playmakers to get the ball, will win tonight, and have the best chance at the postseason.
The Cowboys defense has been stout against the pass this year, while the Bears always field a competitive unit. Two quarterbacks, Romo and Cutler, that people love to hate. Two lines that can induce nightmares. Two large markets with passionate fans, so get ready to hear about great ratings.
I’ll take the Cowboys to win in a tight game.
