Dave Bautista, a.k.a. Batista, won his professional MMA debut last night at Classic Entertainment and Sports: Real Pain in Providence, Rhode Island. Bautista, a 43-year-old former WWE heavyweight champion, beat 40-year-old Vince Lucero, a veteran with 44 MMA bouts under his belt. You can watch the entire thing right up there in that YouTube video. Three and a half minutes into the fight, Bautista took Lucero down and it was all formality from there. The fight was mercifully stopped with 55-seconds remaining in the first round. If you skip to the 8:30 mark of the video you can watch Bautista thank everyone he has ever met. What a fun experiment it was.
