Casey Pachall Will Miss Rest of TCU's Season After DWI Arrest, Enter In-Patient Facility

TCU quarterback Casey Pachall will miss the rest of the 2012 season, after his DWI arrest last week. He will leave school to enter into an in-patient care facility. Pachall, a junior, was fourth nationally in passer rating through four games before being suspended. Pachall admitted he failed a drug test previously.

“We want to make sure we can make this turn into a positive,” Patterson said. “Casey’s parents, Casey and I, we all agreed that there was only one way to change the path he was on – to step away from it.”

The Horned Frogs lost 37-23 at home to Iowa State in his absence. Pachall’s replacement, freshman Trevone Boykin, threw three interceptions.
