What a finish. Robert Griffin III threw a gorgeous 30-yard TD pass to Santana Moss with 92 seconds left and the Redskins grabbed a 23-20 lead. The RG3 coronation began.
Then, 19 seconds later, Eli Manning did what he does best – found Victor Cruz behind the secondary streaking downfield for a 77-yard TD pass. Giants lead, 27-23.
But did New York leave too much time on the clock for RG3? The week prior against the Vikings, he pulled off this magic late in the game to seal a victory.
Unfortunately for Redskins fans, Moss caught a pass with about :45 left and fumbled, and the Giants recovered. Ballgame. The Redskins had five turnovers this year coming into the game; they had four against the Giants.
